The Rake's Progress - Scottish Opera
I worked at Scottish Opera for two weeks on a production of The Rake’s Progress, designed by John Macfarlane. While there I made some 18th century hoop panniers. This involved sewing the panels together, creating the steel channels and attaching the internal tapes that pull the panniers in to the kidney shape. This was a fantastic opportunity to develop my internal costume construction techniques.
