Tutu making workshop - Theatrical Costume course

The tutu making workshop was an additional weekend module. The pattern was for a 10 layer flat tutu (also known as a plate tutu). The tutu consisted of: scalloped edges to all layers, French seams on the tutu knickers, steel on the seventh layer providing support for the tutu, and tutu stringing (to keep the layers together).
